106 RALLYE IN BLACK
This is
my own 1998 LHD Peugeot 106 1.6 8V Rallye. The car is in excellent
condition inside and out. Engine, clutch and
gearbox all in good shape. Experian Gold Checked.
Very fast on country roads from point to point.
Possibly one of only three black 106 Series 2 Rallyes in the UK - a well
known car on the www.106rallye.co.uk forum.
This car has the following modifications for fast road or trackday use.
All recently undertaken and not been used on track: Bilstein Front &
Rear Suspension Dampers. Eibach Stiffened Lowering Spings - Car lowered
approx 20mm all round. Virtually new Yokohama AO48 Advan Road Legal
Track Rubber. New Michelin White (Ultra Light) Steels. K&N Panel Filter.
Magnex Exhaust (Cat Back). Front Strut Brace.Suspension, Wheels and
Tyres cost approximately £1300 a few months ago.
The LHD is not a problem to insure and the modifications do not
constitute anything dramatic so this is a reasonable car to fund. It
drives really well and being LHD feels quite special to run about in for
the money! It's in fabulous condition for a 1998 R Reg car and has just
a few superficial parking dents which could easily be sorted if you were
inclined. The interior is truly superb with the original over-mats in
excellent condition too. There is no stereo fitted - this is a
light-weight car!
Originally supplied in Germany it comes with all it's MOTs and German
TUV Certificate. Import paperwork, handbooks and previous speedo
binnacle showing the 17918 Kms travelled before the speedo was replaced.

To be honest I will be sorry to sell this car as I really wanted to keep
it as it's such great value to own, but I need the space and won't have
time to play with it on trackdays which is what it would be great for. I
doubt you would find a more suitable car for £3000 for UK trackday or
Nurburgring fun. All that remains is for someone to take over the baton
and carry out some more mods such as 206 brakes and maybe a fast road
camshaft. The 1.6 litre 8v engine being really torquey already.
